Fantome was born in Torvaldsland in a small village close to the Northern Forests. Her mother died in childbirth and she was left to the care of her Father's slaves. As she come to age, the young woman learned the arts of healing from tomes and scrolls her Father would bring home in raids. One eve her Father never returned from a raid, all that was brought back was a great axe he named "Subtle Negotiations" Fantome keeps the axe hanging in her home as a reminder of where she was born and who she is. Throughout the woman's life, she has seen death and destruction, sometimes at her own hands. The former Tatrix of Rarn and Gortuga slowly became cold and callous to all after her two children were murdered by the man that she thought that she loved. Sealing her heart away the Healer soon became an anathema when she killed the man that was trying to force her into slavery. These days the woman mostly keeps to herself and the village of Kamba in search of a new life and perhaps new love though she does not think that any man would love her. She is content being the Lady Slaver of Kamba.
